These Terms & Conditions apply to all training courses and services provided by Staffordshire Operator Training Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By booking or paying for a course, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and the associated Cancellation & Refund Policy.

1. Nature of Services

All courses provided by Staffordshire Operator Training Ltd (including but not limited to CPCS and related operator training) are date-specific training services. Bookings allocate instructors, machinery, assessment resources, and course places for specific dates.

2. Bookings

Bookings may be made by individuals or by companies on behalf of learners. Where a booking is made by a company, that company accepts responsibility for payment and compliance with these Terms & Conditions.

Learner names may be transferred prior to the course start date, subject to reasonable notice. Course dates cannot be transferred once booked, except where explicitly agreed in writing by us.

3. Payments

Payment must be made in accordance with the booking terms agreed at the time of booking. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Buy Now Pay Later options, such as Klarna, may be offered for full-balance payments only.

Where Klarna or similar services are used, the customer enters into a separate payment agreement with the provider; however, our cancellation and refund terms remain fully applicable.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions. Please ensure you read this policy carefully before booking.

5. Statutory Rights

As these are date-specific training services, the statutory 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 does not apply once a course date has been booked.

6. Liability

We shall not be liable for any loss or expense arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to adverse weather, equipment failure, instructor illness, or site restrictions. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the affected course.

7. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
