This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all training courses delivered by Staffordshire Operator Training Ltd.

1. Key Principle

All courses are booked for specific dates and require the allocation of instructors, machinery, assessment slots, and other resources.

2. Cancellation Timeframes

More than 14 calendar days before the course start date:

A full refund will be issued, minus any non-recoverable fees already incurred by us (for example, third-party registration or test fees).

14 calendar days or fewer before the course start date:

50% of the course fee is payable and non-refundable.

3. Learner Name Changes

Learner names may be transferred prior to the course start date, subject to reasonable notice. Course dates cannot be changed.

4. Medical Cancellations

Medical cancellations are not accepted, and no additional refunds will be provided on medical grounds.

5. Deposits

Where deposits are taken, they are refundable or non-refundable in line with this Cancellation & Refund Policy. Deposits are not treated separately from the overall course fee.

6. Klarna & Buy Now Pay Later Payments

Where Klarna or other Buy Now Pay Later payment methods are used:

The full course balance must be paid at the time of booking.
Our cancellation and refund terms apply in full.
Any refunds due will be processed back through the original payment method, subject to the terms above.

7. Cooling-Off Period

As this is a date-specific training service, the statutory 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations does not apply once a course date has been booked.
