A short, practical guide to getting test-ready using the official CITB practice app.
We recommend using either an Apple or Android device to download the practice software and prepare for your test.

Type CITB in the search bar — the publisher must be CITB itself. Don't download any other revision app.
Choose the one labelled “CITB op/spec HS+E test”. Once it's installed you're ready to start practising.
There are unofficial "CITB revision" apps and websites that look genuine but use out-of-date or incorrect questions. Make sure the publisher is CITB — the buttons above link straight to the right one.
After you've paid for and installed the app, you can take mock tests. The app will track your progress over time.
Pass three mock tests in a row. That's the strongest signal you're ready for the real thing.
Tap the CITB icon on your home screen to launch it.
Select Specialist as the test category, then choose Demolition as the specialty. Pick your voice-over language and tap Start.
From the menu, choose the Knowledge questions option.
Tap 'Sit a mock test' and treat it like the real thing — quiet space, timed, no notes.
Treat each mock as if it's the real exam. Sit somewhere quiet, don't pause it, and review every question you got wrong before moving on. That's the fastest way to get to three-in-a-row.
